Superior Equipment & Supply Co. has been a trusted source of food service equipment, restaurant equipment, kitchen tools and supplies since 1984. A certified woman- and minority-owned business, Superior’s expert staff is focused on exceeding our customers’ expectations.

Superior Equipment is a different type of company that believes we can build a profitable business founded on social responsibility.  At Superior, we take great pride in helping to strengthen the sustainability of the communities we serve. We believe that proactive education and community outreach are key components of demonstrating exceptional stewardship.

At superior, we are proud of the diversity that exists in the customers and communities we serve. Our associates invest in many communities by volunteering through various agencies. Giving and investing in communities is a major part of our Company’s culture. Our founder, Sammy Mahmood believed so strongly in this that she established an Open Community Kitchen to invest in the needs of our diverse communities helping them with value-added product development, community engagement, leadership development, youth education & business development.

CommunityServingsOpenHousekitchenThe Superior culinary center hosts open cooking hours for the community where we welcome you to cook with us.  This is the perfect place to practice cooking with friends, try a new recipe with all natural ingredients, or prepare foods in larger quantities. We support people from diverse backgrounds and help train them to produce  healthy, high quality, safe and affordable food.


Superior implements this mission by providing hands -on training and cooking images (1)demonstrations along with access to  growing and tasting REAL food.  Produce from the garden is used onsite for cooking classes and workshops. Learn new techniques on specialized equipment and use our resources to take your cooking to a whole new level. Superior is extremely proud of the work of our associates. The Superior Culinary Center offers advanced training’s, certification updates, equipment and design support, and business development consultations.
